Maximal Crazy 2

I believe in miracles.

You can meet someone anytime, anywhere, even in Social Media that he/she prolly will become your best friend, or your soulmate.

And, it happens to me. I met him via social media and we have the same interest in trance music.

....day by day, month by month....

He lives half way around the globe, and I never thought that we have grown close, but I realized I cannot expect anything from this kind of relationship, but I enjoy it.Yep, this is crazy.

I feel so close with him. I'm thinking about him every day.I did something that I've never done before in my life, only for him...

Will we meet each other? Probably!
I want to travel to the city where he lives.
If time permits, and... if God allows.

I believe everything happens for a reason.

Stars

Is it asking too much to be given time,
To know these songs and to sing them?
Is it asking too much of my vacant smile,
And my laugh and lies that bring them?

But as the stars are going out,
And this stage is full of nothing,
And the friends have all but gone,
For my life, my God, I'm singing.

We'll take our hearts outside,
Leave our lives behind,
And watch the stars go out.

Is it asking too much of my favourite friends,
To take these songs for real?
Is it asking too much of my partner's hands,
To take these songs for real?

p.s. Thank you Dubstar

What I need...

  • Someone who understands me
  • Someone who allows me to be me
  • Someone who makes me feel special.
  • Someone who enjoys being in my presence.
  • Someone who is a blessing to my life.
  • Someone to love me as much as I love them.
  • Someone who treats me with the perfect respect.
  • Someone who doesn't take me for granted but cherishes
Waiting, and waiting, and waiting.... *numb*

Maximal Crazy

I never thought that we have grown close.
I want to see you.
I want you so bad.
I'm thinking about you every day.
I did something that I've never done before in my life.
Only for you.
This is maximal crazy.
I'm in love with you.

Can I give unconditional love with no expectations?

BIRA ISLAND Trip: Delightful & Unforgettable Experience!

Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia. It’s a great big, busy, and yes, polluted city with a complex traffic jam all around the street. So, stay in Jakarta during Lebaran holiday, a week ago, actually will give me an opportunity to enjoy the trafficless, until my good friend asked me to join him in exploring Bira Island in Pulau Seribu with bunch of strangers that I haven’t met before! And guess what? That was a DELIGHTFUL and UNFORGETTABLE experience!

The Indonesian word for island is “pulau.”  Pulau Seribu means a "Thousand Island" consisting of almost 105 islands stretching 45 kilometers north into the Java Sea, with the closest island lying in Jakarta Bay only a few kilometers off mainland Jakarta. They nevertheless offer many points of interest, particularly maritime tourism with soft white sand beaches, calm waters, and underwater coral formations. It’s a paradise for water sports and underwater world lovers!

The area is a marine national park although some islands are uninhabited, others have resorts and a number of them are privately owned by wealthy Jakartans. Yep, people! While government administrative offices are concentrated on Pulau Pramuka as capital of the Thousand Islands regency.

Tourists usually go to Pulau Macan, Pulau Bidadari, Pulau Ayer, Pulau Kotok, Pulai Sepa, and Pulau Bira. There are two (2) Pulau Bira:
-          Pulau Bira Besar / Big Bira Island
-          Pulau Bira Kecil / Small Bira island

I went to Big Bira Island with my travel buddies and new friends in total 17 persons. Sounds fun, huh?! I paid IDR 1Million (around US$ 117) for 3 days 2 nights (resort, breakfast-lunch-dinner and transport are included).

The trip takes approx. 4 hours by speedboat from Jakarta to Big Bira Island. Most people got sick during the ride but I could barely hold my own. Anyways, after arriving on the island we were pleasantly surprised. Just about everything you expect from a tropical island! Staff is great and always willing to help you.

We stayed on Big Bira Island but we traveled to a heap of places (read: small islands & beaches) for sunbathing, snorkeling, and swimming. I was really surprised with the quality of the beach, especially when we visited the Rakit Tiang Island. It’s an uninhabited small island with the perfect beach. Crystal blue water, soft white sand, sunny weather, and only us on the island!
We also visited Small Bira Island. It is a really small island with new resorts, and... small jungle.

Getting There

The trip takes approx. 3 hours by speedboat from Marina Ancol to Pramuka Island. And, Big Bira Island is around an hour smallboat ride from Pramuka Island.

The main departure point to reach the Pramuka island is Marina Ancol, on Jakarta Bay in the north of Jakarta where further information on travel arrangements can be found. Daily boats to most islands depart at 8.00am and you are required to arrive at least 1 hour before departure because these are limited places on the boats. And during holiday season, you are required to arrive at least 2 hours before departure!

And oh don’t worry, another option to go to Pramuka Island is via Muara Angke Harbor. It’s the cheapest and the most common used by locals, located in the same area as the fish market. There are regular boats to Pramuka Island, leave in the morning around 7am and afternoon around 1pm.

Travel Tips to Bira Island
  1. This is traveling by sea. It means you will always be moving, driven by the wind. So, pack medicine like Antimo in your bag to avoid seasickness.
  2. Wear shorts with sneakers, or sandals
  3. Bring lots of water. You can buy it during transit at Pramuka Island
  4. Bring lots of sunscreen
  5. Bring mosquito repellent
  6. Bring your own towels and toiletries
  7. Bring a few extra plastic bags for the wet towels and swimsuits
  8. At the beach, bring an empty plastic bag for your garbage
Thousand Islands may be a good alternative for those who love the beach atmosphere with visitors are not as much as in Bali. Certainly the Thousand Islands should be cheaper than Bali, and the fabulous views and exoticism of the Thousand Islands offer you an action-packed short holiday of swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, and diving - unforgettable experience!

Thanks a heap #BiraGank!

BEST of THE DECADE: Movie Category

Yup, this Best of The Decade thingies are prolly nothing important for you, perhaps, but for me, in a few years later, I want to sharing 'em to my child, and to my grandson/daughter as well about the best things I love during 1 Decade! Well, you don't know that prolly your memory is bad in 5 years :D

It's not only about movie, but I'm also preparing the list for music category, party, vacation, food, beverages, new friends I met, and anykind of things that I think it is best in this Decade :p Yes, sue me!

However, really need patience and thoroughness in preparing it but the results can make me satisfied. Well, here are the 15 Best Movies list of the Decade during January 1st, 2000 until December 31, 2009, in my version of course. Some of the informations were taken from wikipedia.

1. The Bourne Supremacy / The Bourne Ultimatum (Paul Greengrass, 2004, 2007)

The action movie is dragged, kicking and back-flipping, into the Noughties courtesy of Matt Damon’s amnesiac superspy and director Greengrass’s film-making Ă©lan. Marrying jittery docu-style camera work with healthy political cynicism, Greengrass transformed Bourne into an anti-Bond for the PlayStation generation. Oooh, I REALLY LOVE MATT DAMON! ;)

Although all three films have been commercially successful and critically acclaimed, The Bourne Ultimatum is the only film in the trilogy to have been nominated for any Academy Awards, winning all three of its nominations for Best Film Editing, Best Sound, and Best Sound Editing at the 80th Academy Awards.

2. Lost in Translation (Sofia Coppola, 2003)

Well well well, EVERYONE WANTS TO BE LOVED! The strangers in a strange place become soul mates for a few stolen days. Bill Murray is gloriously hang dog as a movie star in crisis; Scarlett Johansson is utterly disarming as the neglected newlywed.

It was the second feature film written and directed by Sofia Coppola, after The Virgin Suicides. It was nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor for Bill Murray, and Best Director for Sofia Coppola. Coppola won Best Original Screenplay.

3. 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' (Gore Verbinski, 2003)

Sure, it wasn't the most exciting pirate entrance in the world, but with the introduction of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow, one of the decade's most iconic characters was born. The film became the first in a series, with two back-to-back sequels, Dead Man's Chest and At World's End, released in 2006 and 2007. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Actor for Depp.

4. Brokeback Mountain (Ang Lee, 2005)

A breakthrough movie story from Ang Lee in 2000s!

Spider-Man and Mary Jane's kiss was more iconic (up & down), but the reunion of two gay cowboys sparked both celebration and outrage depending on who you asked. This achingly sad love story gave Heath Ledger a chance to explore hitherto unsuspected depths. It’s a hugely powerful performance — his inarticulate yearning is almost painful to watch.

Brokeback Mountain won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, and was honored with Best Picture and Best Director accolades from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, Golden Globe Awards, Producers Guild of America, Critics Choice Awards, and Independent Spirit Awards among many other organizations and festivals. Brokeback Mountain had the most nominations (eight) for the 78th Academy Awards, where it won three: Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Original Score. The film was widely considered to be a front runner for the Academy Award for Best Picture, but lost to Crash. At the end of its theatrical run, Brokeback Mountain ranked eighth among the highest-grossing romantic dramas of all time. Last but not least: RIP Heath Ledger.

5. Slumdog Millionaire (Danny Boyle, 2008)

Twelve years after Trainspotting, Boyle produces a dizzying Mumbai-set romance that redefines the possibilities of a progressive yet commercially successful national industry. Oscars abound.

Slumdog Millionaire was nominated for ten Academy Awards in 2009 and won eight, the most for any film of 2008, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay. It also won seven BAFTA Awards (including Best Film), five Critics' Choice Awards, and four Golden Globes.

6. Finding Nemo (Andrew Stanton/Lee Unkrich, 2003)

The Pixar trademarks are all there — rapid-fire badinage, ravishing visuals, and sympathetic characters. But this tale of a timid clownfish tracking his kidnapped son carries, like a subaqueous Searchers, a genuinely mythic uppercut.

The film received overwhelmingly positive reviews and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

7. Gladiator (Ridley Scott, 2000)

The sheer audacity! Taking a dead genre — the sword’n’sandals movie — and not just reviving it, but creating an Oscar-winning box-office sensation into the bargain. The film was nominated for and won multiple awards; it won five Academy Awards in the 73rd Academy Awards including Best Picture.

8. The Lord of The Rings: The Return of the King (Peter Jackson, 2003)

Oh Gollum. You couldn't just give up the ring, could you? Even falling into lava, you needed to hold on with your last ounce of strength.

The final and most satisfying Rings movie snagged a record $1.1 billion at the box office, plus 11 Oscars, and cemented the trilogy’s reputation as one of the great all-time franchises.

Released on December 17, 2003, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King became one of the greatest box-office successes of all time. It also won the Academy Award for Best Picture, the only time in history a fantasy film has done so. It is the second highest-grossing film of all time worldwide, behind Titanic and it is the twenty-first most successful in North America once adjusted for inflation.

9. About Schmidt (Alexander Payne, 2002)

Possibly the last great Jack Nicholson performance of the decade (and no, hamming it up in The Departed doesn't count). He stars as a superannuated actuary searching for meaning in an empty middle-American existence. The tear-stained finale is heartbreaking.

Jack Nicholson was nominated for the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2003 and Kathy Bates was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

The film won a Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay - Motion Picture, as well as the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama. (Nicholson stated: "I'm a little surprised. I thought we made a comedy."). It was also nominated for the Palme d'Or at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival.

10. The Devil Wears Prada (David Frankel, 2006)

I adore Meryl Streep’s acting in this movie! Meryl Streep begins her own populist career reinvention (soon to be followed by Mamma Mia!) by playing a tyrannical and thinly disguised version of Vogue editor Anna Wintour aka Miranda Priestly in this satirical yet soft-centered account of life among the fashionistas.

Fyi, although the movie is set in the fashion world, most designers and other fashion notables avoided appearing as themselves for fear of displeasing U.S. Vogue editor Anna Wintour, who is widely believed to have been the inspiration for Priestly. Many designers did, however, allow their clothes and accessories to be used in the film, making it the most expensively-costumed film in history. Wintour later overcame her initial skepticism, saying she liked the film and Streep in particular.

11. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Alfonso CuarĂ³n, 2004)

This movie is a 2004 fantasy adventure film, based on the novel of the same name by J. K. Rowling. Directed by Mexican film maker Alfonso CuarĂ³n, it is the third film in the popular Harry Potter series. The film was nominated for two Academy Awards — Academy Award for Original Music Score and Academy Award for Visual Effects at the 77th Academy Awards held in 2005. Not to mention that the novel won the 1999 Whitbread Book Award, the Bram Stoker Award, the 2000 Locus Award, and was short-listed for other awards, including the Hugo. Mobiliarbus!

12. 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' (Ang Lee, 2000)

The rare foreign movie to crossover to American audiences, the combination of visual beauty and unprecedented special effects earned the film Best Picture and Best Director nominations at the 2001 Academy Awards.

And oh, I love the Bamboo Forest fight scene!

After its US premiere at the Hawaii International Film Festival, it grossed US$128 million in the United States alone, becoming the highest-grossing foreign-language film in American history. It has won over 40 awards. The film won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film (Taiwan) and three other Academy Awards, and was nominated for six other Academy Awards, including Best Picture. The film also won three BAFTAs and two Golden Globes, one for "Best Foreign Film" as well as additional nominations for ten BAFTAs including "Best Picture".

13. 'Twilight' (Catherine Hardwicke, 2008)

Emm, do you love the scene when Edward saves Bella from a car accident, don't you? Okay, the movie that propelled a phenomenon, this scene had pre-pubescent girls and middle-aged women equally putting their hands over their eyes.

It is the first film in The Twilight Saga film series, directed by Catherine Hardwicke and based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer. It focuses on the development of a personal relationship between human teenager Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), and the subsequent efforts of Cullen and his family to keep Swan safe from a separate group of hostile vampires.

Twilight was released in theaters on November 21, 2008, and grossed US$35.7 million on its opening day. The film has grossed US$384,997,808 in worldwide box office and, as of December 2009, $175,255,138 in North American DVD sales. The soundtrack was released on November 4, 2008. New Moon and Eclipse, the next two books in the series, were produced as films the following year.

14. 'Kill Bill, Vol. 1' (2003)

The best scene for me is when Uma Thurman fights off the Crazy 88!

Okay, this doesn't even need description. Perhaps the most highly anticipated film of 2003, Kill Bill Vol. 1 marked the return of renowned filmmaker Quentin Tarantino after a six-year hiatus. Re-teaming the director with Uma Thurman for the first time since 1994's Pulp Fiction, the film was originally the first half of what was to be a three-hour-plus movie before being split into two films. Thurman stars as The Bride, one-fifth of a team of assassins called DiVAS. When The Bride opts to leave the outfit for a life of marital bliss, it doesn't sit well with her boss, Bill (David Carradine), so he has her former cohorts, played by Lucy Liu, Vivica A. Fox, Daryl Hannah, and Michael Madsen, show up at the nuptials, leaving behind a blood bath. Miraculously, The Bride survives a bullet to the head and, four years later, she sets out for revenge against her four assassins and their employer. The story is concluded in Kill Bill Vol. 2, released six months later.

15. Moulin Rouge (Baz Luhrmann, 2001)

Following the Red Curtain Cinema principles, the film is based on the Orphean myth and on Giuseppe Verdi's opera La Traviata. It tells the story of a young British poet/writer, Christian (Ewan McGregor), who falls in love with the star of the Moulin Rouge, cabaret actress and courtesan Satine (Nicole Kidman). It uses the musical setting of the Montmartre Quarter of Paris, France. The film was nominated for eight Oscars, including Best Picture, and won two: for art direction and costume design. It was the first musical nominated for best picture in 22 years.

Baz Luhrmann’s candy-colored musical is all about ridiculously joyous fusions: squeezing popular songs into energetic mash-ups and illustrating the whole thing with vivid colors and a CGI wonderland, he creates a world that rarely looks remotely real, and is never really meant to.

That's my 15 Best Movies list of the Decade. How about you?

Menangis

*already posted on December 14, 2008 on my facebook account

Pernah menangis?

Tapi, di wiken kemarin, I met my good friend, dan makin terbuka pikiran gue. Karena my good friend ini memberikan “pencerahan” kalau menangis itu bisa nunjukin kualitas seseorang. “Menangis itu ada tingkatan-nya lho, De,” dia bilang.

Menangis Tingkat 3

Menangis Tingkat 2
Menangis karena hati lagi riang gembira a.k.a. bahagia.

Menangis Tingkat 1 (Tingkat Tinggi)

Huhuhuhuhu :'(

Punya Blackberry Jadi Crackberry

*already posted on December 10, 2008 on my facebook notes

Gila ya, ibu-ibu itu rata-rata dah pakai BB, tapi pas mau bales email, tetep aja minta tolong gue caranya...Padahal gue mau tidur siang huhuhu."

Nggak.

Tapi gue bersyukur. I failed but I'm happy.

Amin.

Titik Nol

I had a mutual discussion with my good friend last nite.
